Description:Warning light's shape candlestick in bronze and gilt, France 1830 circa. Insipred to the ancient Rome, this piece met the taste of the people of the time, for the archeological features.
The capital taking the form of boldly modelled leaves, supported by reeded bronze column with gilt acanthus leaf motif at the base. The column stand on bronze lion legs enriched with gilt acanthus foliate ornament and standing on concave sided triangular bronze plinth.
The base is weighed down with lead to increase the stability of the lamp.
