Description:The Art Nouveau love for winding smooth lines, spread quickly all over Europe from the eighties of the XIX century up to the beginning of the First World War in 1914; this kind of lines were adopted by graphic art, jewelery, silverware, metallic ware and architecture.
The elegant and sinuous tray showed below, is characterized by the typical Art Nouveau floral decoration.
The well known 'whiplash', the Art Nouveau‘s characteristic decorative element, is visible and clear in the tray’s central part.
