Pen-holder made from yellow antique marble of Sicily and gilded bronze, second half of the 19th century.
Description:This antique yellow of Sicily marble pen-holder is decorated along its sides with laurel branches, berries and ribbons made from chiseled, gilded bronze in France in the second half of the 19th century. It was clearly inspired by the delicate Louis XVI style, which - along with the Imperial style - was one of the most favored during the reign of Napoleon III.
