Description:The emperor Kangxi (1654–1722) was the second Qing emperor to rule over China, from 1661 to 1722.
This is a chinese export blue cobalt underglaze and white porcelain plate,with some flowers and branches in the centre of a double blue circle. The rim is decorated with peach blossoms and flowers too.
The plate foot is painted with flower heads and it is marked by the Artemisia leaf mark within a double blue circle; such a mark is often found on Qing blue and white porcelain. The Artemisia leaf is the symbol of divination and blissfulness, of good fortune, health and one of the 'Eight Precious Things' of Taoism.
Condition: good condition. No restoration or repair.
