Description:The frames, made of gilded wood and stucco, are decorated with plant motifs, including the pomegranate, symbol of abundance and prosperity.
They are in neo-Rococo style, typical of the revival of mid-nineteenth century.
Napoleon III period is characterized, in fact, by the largest variety of stimuli in the art and by the virtuoso imitations of the forms and techniques of the past.
The frames come with their original blown glass.
Included in the frames are two french lithographs depicting portraits of women, contemporary of the frame and handpainted.
