Description:The unknown artist of this painting shows to us two faces comnnected by age and bound by solidarity. This is the alliance between the people, symbolized by the child with the Phrygian cap, and it's future, personified by the child who looks peacefully to the days who ara about to come.
You could also see, in our two protagonists, the friendship between the child-adult wearing the Phrygian cap, and his partner still immersed in childhood and its dreams.
The marine background opens a window on the future and the worlds waiting to be discovered.
The flowers in the lower part of the painting, are meant to suggest the same delicate emotion of the child's eyes turned towards the infinite.
The painting is relined, and it's inspired by the seventeenth-century Italian paintings.
