Description:Very active painter in the XX century‘s roman artistic scene, Luigi Polverini is very well known for his female nudes and landscapes.
His works, with his very personal mark, almost impressionist, were displayed in various exhibitions in Italy and in Europe.
This work, painted in the 40s of the last century, represents Sabaudia’s beach, close to Rome, as is written overleaf.
The forceful brush strokes and the colorful characters on the beach, made this oil on paperboard a very interesting and intriguing painting.
