Description:The ten fancy gilded silver place card holders were crafted using the cire perdue technique.
Their typical traits are the accurate moulding and later chisel craft. In addition, each piece has a unique feature.
As a a matter of fact each Putto carries one of the element needed to lay a banquet table: a carafe, a wine bottle, a glass, a fish, roast beef, fruits and mushrooms.
The place card can be inserted in the acanthus leaf at the basis of each Putto.
Marks: 1) 800 (purity degree 800/1000), 2) 215 FI (lozenge mark identifying the silversmith number).
