Three silver boxes, Paris, late XIX century.
Description:The decoration is in both French Regency style, as seen in the lambrequins, and in Louis XVI style, as evinced by the use of the medallion, the garlands and the fluttering bands. The lids, which come is various shapes, are rounded and finished at the edges with three grooves.
The underside of the boxes is decorated with complex, diamond-shaped knurling.
Marks: 1)FERRY by the silversmith inside the diamond shape; 2) Minerva's head 1st standard mark.
