The New GalleriaVerde
Dear Friends,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the all-new GalleriaVerde.
After working for many years in the wonderful and very real surroundings of Rome's Via di Monserrato, the time has come to start a new chapter in our adventure by moving into the virtual world.
The enormous potential offered by the internet allows GalleriaVerde to open its doors to any visitor - at any time of day or night, wherever they are in the world - who wants to browse some beautiful pieces that all have a history, and, therefore, a tale to tell.
The decision to make the "giant leap" from a stylish street in the heart of Rome to the limitless world of the web is certainly not one we have taken lightly.
Of course, our passion for antiques remains as strong as ever. We continue as always to uncover fragments of our history - whether aesthetically pleasing or simply unusual - that have survived through the centuries thanks in part to their innate qualities and in part to luck (just like humanity itself), which together determine the destiny of every piece.
As before, we continue to exploit all of our expertise in an endeavour to meet the challenges posed by the veiled signs contained within a colour, an image, a type of material or process, using these almost invisible details to unlock the secrets of the piece in question.
I'm very curious to see how this will pan out - I'm convinced that the beautifully crafted objects of the past will continue to fascinate future generations.
